About Us / Company Profile
NCS aims at developing a true systems integration company within the refrigeration industry. NCS believe that having electrical and controls design, installation, commissioning, support and after sales service under one roof allows the refrigeration contractor to concentrate effort where needed and provide the client with a full refrigeration package. NCS has the in house capability to provide service support for Elm, Woodley, CDK and RDM front end equipment, as well as control level support for JTL and RMS/RCS.
Our experience within Marks & Spencer, Somerfield, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Asda, Lidl and others enables us to provide a service whereby all customers and end users benefit from our knowledge and ability to deliver a problem free scheme. Members of NCS's specialist team have been selected from personnel who at one time or another have been employed by refrigeration and controls companies within the UK. Their range of expertise encompasses refrigeration electrics, controls, electronics, design, and many other facets of the industry.
Our future agenda is to expand our company to provide a better and stronger service to all our customers, with all new developments to the fore of our interests. The potential to integrate BMS and HVAC within current proprietary and new IP network systems, which is high on this agenda, will assure the client of a link that has never before now been delivered.
Our Future
A major part of the company's commitment to the future of integrated cooling and HVAC systems concerns information technology. With the advent of the communication services provided by the Internet, we are committed to providing our clients with the best information gathering and reporting services available. These services are increasingly becoming a vital part of our clients' statutory requirements, especially in temperature logging and reporting.
NCS is spearheading the use of TCP/IP protocols in providing the necessary communication infrastructure for our clients. This is especially important for our larger clients, who need the reliability and flexibility of TCP/IP to ensure that their stock is monitored in real time so that any problems can be quickly identified and corrected before the situation becomes critical.
With a dedicated team of refrigeration, electrical and control engineers, we have placed the highest priority on forging a strong relationship with our customers and ensuring that they are kept informed of the project at every step. NCS's key objectives are dedicated to ensuring that this crucial communication is maintained.
We commit:
- to take responsibility for the complete system
- to ensure that the system represents the best application of technology and best value for money
- to ensure, through thorough and specifically targeted training programmes, that all parties are clear on the system features and use of the system
- to ensure system effectiveness by means of regular maintenance and identification of changes in the user training requirements.
The directors and all engineering personnel are qualified to the relevant 16th IEE Regulations for Electrical Works within the contracting industry, in addition to holding qualifications for CAT 5, 5e, 6 & 7 structured cabling. Our BICSI approved LAN design specialist, will be spearheading the IT developments with the company.
All site based engineers have an in-depth knowledge of Elm and RDM control systems and front ends and can commission the systems themselves. For Woodley equipment, we have two engineers with the necessary experience to resolve all problems. Back to the top
